State-owned Energy Company of Ukraine (ECU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global energy company GE Vernova (USA) aimed at accelerating innovative solutions in the field of distributed generation. This collaboration unlocks new opportunities for Ukrainian cities looking to build their own generating capacities, ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy supply.
The collaboration will be grounded in a holistic approach to projects implementation. It encompasses technical support, financial, digital solutions, and regulatory guidance, empowering cities to not only establish their own generating capacities but also manage them efficiently. This approach also accelerates the integration of distributed generation into Ukraine's energy system.
